Favourite scent: White plum. dead eyes and lost what you found Appearance: Ataraxy has long, smooth platinum silvery hair down to her lower back. Her eyes were once an emerald green and had almost shocking quality to them. As time passed, however, they slowly began fading into a dull greenish-gray. Her frame is slender with curves in all the right places, and her height is a bit above average for a girl her age. She has an alabaster complexion that gives the impression of new chalk. Personality: Freethinking and a free spirit, Ataraxy’s a calm girl, laid back most of the times and she rarely raises her voice. She tends to avoid responsibility and shirks many duties that require excessive attention to detail. Partly due to her steeply declining eyesight, Ataraxy is neglectful of her environment and overlooks her surroundings more times than not. She is more in touch with her thoughts than with what is going on around her, but this gives her a certain peace. Ataraxy isn’t oblivious to people’s intentions, and tries to stay true to what feels right for her. Consequently, she brushes off potential suitors because she knows they are just after her money. Although she is illiterate, she is well spoken. Place of Residence: Currently, she lives with her parents in a very nice house in Memphis. History: Ataraxy grew up in Memphis, coming from a rich family. She’s the youngest of three girls—her sister Elizabeth is 23 and her sister Roxanne is 21. Her birth was considered an accident. When her mom discovered that she was pregnant with Ataraxy, she and her husband were shocked but delighted nonetheless. Soon after her birth, however, they realized that Ataraxy had some defect that made her vision decline increasingly. Ataraxy’s parents grew disappointed and their hopes for their youngest daughter faded as her near-blindness became apparent. But they delusioned themselves into believing that Ataraxy was only a late bloomer and would eventually get married off like her previous sisters. Extra: Unable to read or write, save her name, she has a flair in music and is an extraordinary pianist. However, because of her poor vision, she can’t so much read the written notes on the sheet of paper as she just learns by listening to someone else play and she follows. By doing that, she also composes a few of her own pieces by ear. It’s lowly, it’s crude, but hey it’s music. |
